Finding Fonts installed on your systems that support English and all the accented characters that make up the Yoruba orthography for a long time had been a headache.  No one tool could show how a particular font will display the glyphs that make up the Yoruba text, until Adobe Flex 3 was released and we discovered the enumerateFont() function, and a great article and code at blog.flexexamples.com we were able to modify and use to verify Yoruba text

By selecting the individual listed font, one can immediately see if it displays properly the characters you require. It shows how many fonts are available (installed locally or embedded into the SWF) to web applications.
